QUEBONAFIDE - PÓŁNOC POŁUDNIE (DIAGNOZA) (2025)

Working on several scenes combining live action and 3D for “Północ Południe” — Quebonafide’s swan song.
Scope: concept development and animation of the gluttony-disease character.

The process of creating the gluto-disease character was multi-stage and fully hybrid — spanning hands-on manual work through to advanced 3D simulations:

• The character concept was developed through collage and hand painting, based on iterative outputs generated using uncensored models in Stable Diffusion / ComfyUI
• The final character model was sculpted by hand in ZBrush
• Final textures were hand-painted in Substance Painter
• A Quebonafide character scan for collision purposes was captured using an iPhone and generated in MeshyAI
• Final animation and simulations were created in Houdini, with additional work using Liquigen
• The final render was completed in Redshift

The film received two awards at the Gdynia Film Festival:
• Best Directorial Debut — Sebastian Pańczyk
• Artistic Contribution — Kuba Grabowski
